Pastor Rick spends a few moments interviewing world-renowned medical leader Dr. Mehmet Oz about “Why do hearts go bad?” and the “ABCs of weight loss.” As a heart surgeon, Dr. Oz explains how fixing heart-related problems with by-passes, stents, and grafts isn’t as important as identifying what is making the blood toxic and reversing the process – the results from this identification will benefit the heart, brain, and every other organ in the body.

I started the program Saturday morning. Monday moring I weighed 8 pounds less. My rosacia scabs are still healing, but I have no inflamaions, with no use of the topical meds I was using 4 times a day in a never ending battle. Puffy eyes have gone down tremendously. I look brighter.I've been taking the Amen multi vitamen, Omega 3, and the crave control. This is the 3rd day, but I do have a headach and occasionally feel nauseas. I think it is because of the toxins that are raging through my body trying to escape.I'm praying for everyone. The world needs this program.I also have a couple recipes I made up that are delicious.

I have to report in. Two hours later and two 24oz of water, my headach is almost totally gone and I feel better.I forgot to post this tidbit of info earlier. Sunday night, I went to bed for the first time I can ever remember with clear nasal passages. For the last four years I have suffered with a host of ailments including increase loss of breath and asmetic brochitus. My sinus passages are draining. perhaps that is what made me feel nauseas.I'm looking online for the bloodwork place. I am wondering, though, what/how do we decipher it after we get the reports back?I came up with a totally delicious salad that is fit for a king. Every color in the rainbow is in it from fresh organic veggies. God bless you all!Love

OK, it is about 3 hours since my last post. I'm not crazy...my Rosacia is healing (even the scabs from the old infections)moment to moment.I prayed for God to help me and show me how to get healthy and lose weight with a focus on Him for the purposes He has for me. Ask and you shall receive. He's the Deliverer! That might make a great praise song! Ha!Love to all!J

As a fitness instructor for nearly 20 years I always gravitate to health information and this is so exciting because I do think adherence will improve as we as a church learn this information together. Prior to this we learn out there on our own and often get sidetracked the first time to we go to a small group gathering and a friend has lovingly baked something or served something full of sugar and fat and we think it is rude not to partake. Learning this together will encourage us not to serve unhealthy food to others because we love them. And if we have to abstain from the desert or snack being offered, the decision will more likely be supported. I'm so excited to see what this approach can accomplish because it's not that people don't want to get healthy but it takes a supportive environment to see it through and to make change permanent. Thank you Rick so much for leading the way. We need you to stick to because others watch and follow your lead. And we love you.

The information contained just in these interviews with the doctors you've gathered has given me so much information! It has motivated me to take care of what God has given me. Thank you so much for your dedication to finding a solution to this increasing epidemic.

Plan almost exactly like diabetic plan I'm already on but a little more strict so the main thing I'm excited about is the fitness side which I'm already doing better on wanting to get up to walking briskly 15 miles weekly or more! I'm already on my way walking daily and have lost 3 lbs. I don't want to lose weight only get more fit to lower my medications!

Dr Oz has such passion when he speaks.....he seems to really care about the people whom he treats and wants to influence. He's real.....I think thats why we respond so positively to what he has to say. He's a true gift.....a blessing for sure !

I am putting these iscussions with all 3 dr.'s on my fb page. Also going to look into the Daniel Plan book for myself. I have been a believer for over 42 years. I do believe that G-d's original plan did not include meat for our diet but legumes, fruit and plants. I hope I can get into this completely with a heartfelt commitment by Jan. 1st.
