      <title>Fitness Well-Being For Women</title>
      <description>&lt;img alt="" class="BlogPostImage" src="/Site/Provider/GetImageLibrary.aspx?id=4276" data-image id="4276" /&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;Instructor Elaine Crane&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Monday-Wednesday-Thursday  9:00 - 10:00 a.m.&lt;br /&gt;The Refinery, $5.00 per week&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The women's Fitness Well Being classes are held every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday  from 9 - 10am in The Refinery Gym. Expect a combination of cardiovascular  exercise, weight training and resistance bands for an  overall body workout. Classes are taught by Elaine Crane, a certified  ISSA fitness trainer. Bring your own workout towel and water bottle.  Call (949) 609-8711 for more information.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;About Elaine Crane&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Elaine is an ISSA certified fitness trainer and have  followed a personal fitness regime most of my adult life. She has  taught various forms of fitness classes for more than 20 years, as well as  completed in several fitness and body building competitions in the UK.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;About  The Class&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The Women's Fitness Well-Being Classes are a combination of  cardio training, resistance bands and dumb bell weights and upbeat  music. The classes run for an hour and are never the same  class. We combine calisthenics, plyometrics, weight  resistance/bands and core exercises in our classes.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;For instance, in a recent class, we warmed up  incorporating various moves such as half jacks, hamstring kick backs, jogging  on the spot, jump squats, and then stretched. Then we did drills, which  included walking lunges, sprinting (20 second intervals), crocodile walks  (walking on all fours with our body parallel and close to the group), lateral  drills, and so on.  We ended the class by working shoulders, biceps and  chest using a number of different dumb bell exercises, and then spent 10  minutes on abs and cool down.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;We end with prayer. There are no mirrors and no men in this  class. We have fun and the hour passes quickly.  Everyone usually leaves  very sweaty but de-stressed!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Who  Should Attend&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The women that attend are anywhere from early 20's to over  60.  We even have a lady that is 72!  You go at your own  pace.  A number of the women work at my level (advanced), some  drop it back and some just keep moving as best they can.  Everyone is  instructed on how to do the exercise (to ensure proper form and technique) and  then given modification suggestions so if they cant do the exercises there is a  safe and easier alternative.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

I did not  exercise and I felt tired all day long.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Why  did you decide to start The Daniel Plan, how did you hear about it?  &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My doctor told me if I do not start to  exercise, I will be Diabetic.  At the time, I was 223 pounds. I also have  sleep apnea due to being overweight.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;What  new healthy habits have you learned, or anything else that you have learned  from The Daniel Plan?  &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Now I&lt;strong&gt; &lt;/strong&gt;control my eating. Eat more healthy food. Spend more time with  God. I talk to God during my walk.  I talk to him about all the issues my  family are facing, our concerns about our family, relatives, and our  parents.  I pray to him to give me strength for my exercise, and help me  to meet my goal on this new journey.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;What  have been a few of the results you've experienced? &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have lost 42 pounds. I went from size  38 to 34; My shirt size from XL to L. I do not have sleep apnea and never feel  tired or sleepy.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;What  advice would you give someone getting started or considering The Daniel  Plan?&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;a. Pray&lt;br /&gt;b. Be determined.&lt;br /&gt;c. Be persistent.&lt;br /&gt;d. Set a goal (I suggest setting a big  goal. How much do you really want to lose?)  &lt;br /&gt;Once you have this, Pray to HIM, and  tell him why you want to do this.  Ask HIM to help you to have the  determination to make it, and to be persistent.  Ask HIM for guidance. If  you serious about it, God will be serious with you.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Note: I walk 8 miles per day (4 miles  in the morning before I go to work, and 4 miles after work.  Both session  = 2hrs.)&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <title>NEW Tae Box Class with Tina Pretsch</title>
      <description>&lt;img alt="" class="BlogPostImage" src="/Site/Provider/GetImageLibrary.aspx?id=4244" id="4244" /&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Six-Weeks Session Starts Thursday, Sept. 22, 6pm, Tent 3&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Tina Pretsch is a Certified Personal Trainer  &amp;amp; Nutritionist, Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and serves on staff here at  Saddleback Church working on The Daniel Plan and the Spiritual Maturity Team.  She has a strong passion "for helping people change their lives by changing the  way they think about diet and exercise, by helping them make permanent  lifestyle changes."&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;This Thursday, Tina begins teaching a six-week "Tae Box"  class, beginning at 6pm in Tent 3. Please plan to  arrive early as the class will begin at 6pm sharp. Also allow time to sign the  release form if you haven't already.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;What  is Tae Box?&lt;/strong&gt; Tae Box is a combination of martial arts, boxing and dance  that requires strength, endurance and focus. The exercise draws on a variety of  different exercise disciplines and results in increased energy, better  coordination and balance, greater strength, increased agility and enhanced  self-confidence.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Who  Should Attend?&lt;/strong&gt; The class is open to  every one of all fitness levels. For those new to exercise, I'll be showing  several modifications.  In one hour you can burn anywhere from 500-800  calories.
