FARMERS’ MARKETS OFFER FRESH CHOICES
Farmers’ Markets give The Daniel Plan participants a chance to buy fresh produce directly from local farmers. You can meet the farmers face to face and ask questions like, “Is this organically grown? How do I prepare this? Is it in season?” Typically, you will get high quality fruits and vegetables picked ripe at affordable prices. Also, buying locally grown produce encourages regional farming. Farmers’ Markets convene weekly in different locations, so we’ve assembled a list below so you can find one in your area.
So connect with your crop. Eat food grown on a plant, not made in one. We’ve also gathered a few reusable bags in case you want to toss the tacky plastic bags.
